Sew Your Own Style Events with Nicky Hawkes

Monday 5th October and Thursday 12th November 7.30-9.30pm. Booking essential.

Have you ever fallen in love with the latest sewing pattern but never been sure if it will actually suit you?

For this special event we've teamed up with local Style Consultant Nicky Hawkes. She will share her expertise to give you top tips regarding which styles and shapes and fabric patterns are flattering for your body and face shape.....don’t worry, it’s nothing like the TV shows. ...there are no 360 degree mirrors or getting undressed!

We’ve got two sessions each with a different focus on finding the styles, shapes and colours to individually suit you.

They take place on Monday 5th October and Thursday 12th November from 7.30-9.30pm. Each session costs £15 and if you book both sessions you get 10% off! (just click on the highlighted text to see the full details).

I’ve got a mini style consultation with Nicky next week which I’m really looking forward too so I’ll let you know how it goes!

Sew Saturday

Saturday 17th October All Day - Free to come along

As part of the SEW Home and Style Magazine national campaign to raise awareness of local fabric shops, we are joining in the festivities with a special day of ‘Make and Take’ Workshops in the studio, tea and cake and lots of special offers in the shop!

I’m really proud to be part of the indie sewing shop community and really appreciate all the support that our customers give us when they are lots of other choices out there.

This exciting day will take place on Saturday 17th October and I’ll release details of the ‘Make and Take’ Workshop closer to the time.
They will be fun simple and quick to make projects, suitable for all ages and you can pop in and out during the day.
